Colleen Krueger - Artistic Producer
Colleen Krueger kicked started her career in music back in 2011 with what started as a name company and has since expanded and a full time operation. LandlockedMGMT has been a platform to support emerging artists in their career development, strategy, and project management. Colleen, also works on various production and talent buying projects which more recently includes East Town Get Down Festival in Calgary.
Currently Colleen is the Artistic Director for International Ave’s festival East Town Get Down, the Managing Director of Music Calgary and producer of SoundOff Summit, Owner and operator of LandlockedMGMT and Label project manager at Flemish Eye Records. |
Greg Curtis - Executive Producer
Greg Curtis’ career in concert promotion began as an employee, and then a contracted employee, of the University of Calgary Students’ Union over twenty-five years ago. During his tenure he has been active as the exclusive talent buyer for the MacEwan Ballroom, The Den, and MacEwan Hall. Utilizing these, and every other venue in Calgary (from the Engineered Air Theatre to The Saddledome), he negotiates contracts for over one hundred performances annually. From folk to punk to children’s performances to jazz and everything in between, Greg is extremely proud of the diversity of talent presented by his organization The formation of “Tooth Blackner Presents” in 2005 as an incorporated entity, has allowed for expansion of Greg’s working relationships, influence, and involvement in the music industry in Western Canada. In addition to MacEwan Hall and Ballroom, Tooth Blackner Presents is the exclusive concert buyer and live music programmer for the Bella Concert Hall. Producing concerts and tours for television productions, corporate entities, large scale festivals, government offices, private individuals, and the general public, “Tooth Blackner Presents” has garnered a strong reputation and extensive business relationships in Western Canada. Greg Curtis, under the auspices of Tooth Blackner Presents, has recently delved into artist management with his premier client being the very intriguing Hello Moth. In addition to his numerous creative and successful business projects, Greg enjoys supporting the local arts scene, spending time with his family, and writing autobiographies in the third person.

Alison Karim - McSwiney - Event Organizer
Alison Karim-McSwiney is the Executive Director with the International Avenue Business Revitalization Zone (INTLAVE BRZ). She has 20 years of experience as a Place Manager and is the recipient of many awards. Her visionary leadership includes recent successes of securing $176 million for the multimodal redesign and infrastructure improvements along International Avenue. Alison has been instrumental in bringing innovative community initiatives to International Avenue including creating Canada’s first food tour in 1997 which is still running today. She has organized hundreds of successful events from parades, festivals, galas, conferences and tours. She is an alumni of CJSW Radio where she hosted a show for five years in the mid-80’s and was part of the committee to organize CJSW’s first Funding Drive. Indy music has been her passion along with her partner Don McSwiney, a well known musician and former CJSW radio station manager.

Celeste Watamanuk - Administrator & Ticketing
Celeste Watamanuk is the Executive Assistant and Special Events Co-ordinator with the International Avenue BRZ. Stemming from a 25 year career in the hospitality industry, Celeste has extensive experience in hosting events. Known for her can-do attitude, she is back for her 3rd year working with the venues on their delicious East Town Get Down menus, along with overseeing the VIP Band Lounge.
Living in the Greater Forest Lawn area herself, Celeste feels a strong personal connection to International Avenue and loves to promote the East Town Get Down Festival! |
